Brijit offered 100 word summaries of the best long-form content in print, on television and most recently on sites like Digg, Techmeme and YouTube. So today I bit the bullet and forked out $95 to join Ticketek’s new Privilege Club. I must admit, with the price of concert tickets being what they are I wasn’t keen to shell out another hundred to join. But in recent times it’s become increasingly more difficult to nab the good concert tickets before the scalpers, so I figured I’d see how this serves me. I may have posted this photo here once before; it shows John Phillip Law, disc producer Kim Aubry and I at the recording session for the DANGER: DIABOLIK audio commentary back in 2004. And now the LA TIMES has reported John's death, two days ago, at the age of 70. I'm in shock.
